Chief Executive, Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland
Educated at Friends School Lisburn and holding a BA in Public Administration from the University of Ulster, Keith joined the Civil Service in 1987.
From 2000-2006 he worked in the UK Representation to the EU, Brussels, including as part of the UK Presidency in 2005. Before joining HSENI Keith was Director of Food, Farm and Rural Policy in the Department of Agriculture. Keith took up the role of Chief Executive of HSENI on 4 February 2013.
HSENI works with others to reduce work-related serious injury and ill health in high risk industries including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, waste / recycling and quarrying.
