30 years on, what has been achieved and what does the future hold?
Summary of Presentation:
As this is the 30th anniversary of the Authority, the presentation will reflect back on the previous 30 years, highlighting some of the key milestones and achievements. It will look at the Authority’s current strategy, its objectives, the challenges and what lies ahead for the Authority.
Mark Cullen is the Assistant Chief Executive of the Operational Compliance and Prevention Division in the Health and Safety Authority, a position he took up in May 2018. Mark was the regional manager for the Authority’s South East unit prior to taking up his current role. Mark joined the Authority in October 1999 having previously worked as a Civil Engineer in the construction sector in the UK. He also represents the Authority on the Senior Labour Inspectors Committee which assists the European Commission in monitoring the enforcement of EU legislation at national level.
